For ten years we have provided a legal safety net for members who have been denied access to legal aid because of complicated cases. In ten years this has been members seeking safety from sexual violence, gender-based violence, domestic slavery, forced marriage, and trafficking. 

we have an urgent need for funds for an expert report, barrister costs and interpreter in our member’s high court appeal for asylum. Our solicitor needs £1000 up front for the expert report as a matter of urgency, we had hoped to have a little more time to fund raise but we don’t!
 
This case will establish the rights of survivors of sexual violence who rely on mental health support and medication, and cannot access this with internal relocation in their country of origin, violating their fundamental right to life. The case will establish data driven proof and set the legal precedent for the rights of all those with mental health service reliance where a removal is a risk to life.
All together we are likely to need £1950 but only currently have £500 in our legal fund. 
We must win this case for our member and friend. She has lived in the UK for 13 years.
